Yeah, but I think those squash balls would hurt more.

Seconded. I know from experience.

Amazing how we've gone from talking about which sport is better, to which ball would hurt more if one were to be hit by it.

I disagree, however, because a tennis ball is denser, heavier, and bigger than a squash ball, and if both were to hit me at 125 MPH, i'd choose the squash ball, since it is physically less of a blow.

But given the size of the ball, more force is exerted on a smaller surface area (yes, it's the same surface area for both balls in theory, since they'd touch you at one point tangent to the ball, but these balls (and your body) aren't rigid, so please don't make that argument).
Namaste,

I can understand both of your points, karan however makes a lot of sense as if a bullet were going 125 mph, you would sure die if it passed through you as it has a tip for surface area

But that is not the argument karan is making. A bullet PENETRATES your tissue, a squash/tennis ball does not.

All I remember is I got hit in the face with a 80+ MPH tennis serve, and a full-wind up squash shot. Both left welts/bruises, but the squash shot hurt for much longer after that. At higher speeds I'm not sure, but the squash ball stings more and sting pain is worse than hard pain. That is all.
